Mama & ik - Mama & me

Papa vindt dat er te weinig foto's van mama op mijn blog staan, dus hier zijn we; mama & ik!
Daddy says there are too little photo's of mama at my blog, so here we are; mama & me!
Hier gaan we samen naar de farmers market, terwijl dad uitslaapt na een nachtdienst. Mama vindt het natuurlijk jammer dat hij niet mee kan, maar dankzij mij heeft ze altijd een vriendinnetje om mee op stap te gaan -en ik trek alle aandacht met mijn brede glimlach en mijn babbels, dus we raken met Jan en alleman aan de praat!

Here we go to the farmers market together, while dad sleeps in after a night shift. Of course Mama is bummed he cannot join us, but thanks to me she always has a little girlfriend to go out with -and I get so much attention with my big smile and my babbles, that we talk to everybody!

Net als het strand! Hier zijn we voor het eerst in de zandbak bij de JCC (het Jewish Community Center) waar ik in september een paar ochtendjes per week naar het kinderdagverblijf ga.

Just like the beach! Here we are in the sandbox for the first time at the JCC (the Jewish Community Center) where I will go to daycare a few mornings per week, starting September.
Opperste concentratie... ik lette niet eens op de camera (normaal reden voor een Pavlov-lach; ja, met 8 maanden lijkt ze al geconditioneerd om naar dat kleine zilveren kastje te grijnzen!)

Uttermost concentration... I did not even see the camera (normally reason for a Pavlov-smile; yes, at 8 months she seems conditioned to give a grin at the little silver box!)
Even een hapje zand! Volgens dit artikel in de New York Times is dat heel gezond, las mama ;-)
